Getting to Hotel

The most convenient gateway to Selçuk is Adnan Menderes Airport in Izmir, a major international and domestic hub. From the airport, two quite excellent choices present themselves of reaching the hotel all the way. The most direct of these is a pre-booked private transfer that takes about 45-60 minutes in time from end to end and goes right up to your doorstep a rather hassle-free option for the traveler if he or she is heavily laden with luggage.

An outstanding and highly recommended alternative is to take the train. There is a train station right inside the Izmir airport terminal. Comfortable and quite frequent trains run directly from the airport to Selçuk, and the whole trip takes a little over an hour. This is a very cheap and real way to travel. From Selçuk train station, Hotel Mary's House is 10-15 minutes walk or a very short and cheap taxi ride.

For those coming in on the long-distance bus, Selçuk has a very central bus station (otogar), with very frequent services to all major cities in Turkey. It is also only a 10-15 minute walk or a short taxi ride from the hotel. If you’re driving here via rental car, the hotel is easily located in a quiet residential area just off main roads, with plenty of safe, free street parking available right out front.
